Contact Stella - send a message to the Spanish Group Coordinator

Our Spanish group meets every Friday morning. The joint group contacts, Stella and Kath, have learnt Spanish over many years and despite not being language teachers they are happy to lead the group by planning activities and work for our weekly sessions.
People have different reasons for wanting to learn Spanish. For some it’s to be more confident with the language when on holiday while for others it’s a hobby (and a good workout for the brain), but ultimately what most people want is to be able to understand, ask questions or have a simple conversation.
Our group members have varying levels of ability so we progress slowly to ensure that everyone is included, always keeping in mind that the idea of a u3a group is to have fun as well as to learn. We’re a very friendly group and all genuinely enjoy helping each other.
We love welcoming new members whatever their level and although this isn’t a beginners’ group, if you don’t have any Spanish, or know just a few words, we’ll help you get started by spending several weeks working on a one-to-one basis before you join in with the rest of the group.
