We visit gardens open to the public. We don't meet on any particular day as many of the gardens open for the NGS are only open at weekends. If we visit a garden that is open to the public year round then we usually go on the second Wednesday of the month. Travel is on a car share basis and passengers are asked to contribute to the fuel cost.
Occasionally we have an indoor meeting such as a quiz in the winter and this would be on the second Wednesday of the month.
We don't do gardening as a group, although most Group members have an interest in gardening and are happy to share their knowledge and to learn from each other.
Despite the weather, 9 members of the Group walked in Cefn Onn Park on 8 April. The rhododendrons were looking splendid, magnolia petals mostly on the ground and some lovely azaleas too.

A few pictures below from Dewstone in glorious sunshine. A unique garden with grotto and well worth a visit. Caldicot not too far. If visiting come off M4 at Magor exit as this cuts out very narrow lanes.
