We meet on the 4th Friday of each month.

Here are a few members of Pontyclun u3a Book Group having a lively discussion on our latest read. 

Couldn’t get us all in the picture as we sit in a circle in the comfortable armchairs of Café 50 lounge for our meetings. We currently have 22 members of the group and meetings are usually attended by around half that number. 

New members, particularly male, are welcome to the group, for themselves but also for the possibility of the new genres and authors they would introduce. 

We sometimes choose a read that results in everyone enjoying it, but the best discussions are over a ‘marmite’ book that really divides us.

We democratically choose a new book each month and twice a year add a ‘classic’ to take us over the Christmas period and the August break.  Come and join us – you will be very welcome.
