Mark Goulding Wildlife Crime Enforcement

Mark served eleven years in the Royal Air Force as an aerial photographic processor on maritime and ground reconnaissance squadrons, followed by twenty-two years as a police officer for South Wales in a variety of frontline response and community roles. More notably he specialised in ‘wildlife crime’ and gained a reputation as the ‘Go To’ Police Wildlife Crime officer. Mark has received police commendations for, off duty arrests, incident management, and his wildlife crime partnership work.

He has received a Royal Humane Society Award for saving life and was nationally recognised in 2015 as the UK Wildlife Crime Enforcer of the year sponsored by the World Wildlife Fund. Mark has featured on radio and in news broadcasts, as well as on television for his Wildlife Crime work. Mark now works for a conservation charity and advises UK Police services on wildlife crime enforcement. When time allows, he enjoys exploring and photographing the natural world.
